How does KVAR reduce electric costs?: The working technology applied by the KVAR unit reclaims, stores and supplies power to inductive motors and loads. All induction loads consume two kinds of power: Reactive Power and Working Power (KW).; The Active Power performs the useful work. The Reactive Power’s function is to develop magnetic fields (EMF) ground induction winding. The KVAR Unit works on Power Factor Optimizer Technology to reduce the Reactive load without affecting the EMF. The power reclaimed and recycled by the KVAR Unit would normally be pushed back through the Power Distribution line. As a result of providing Reactive Power locally motors run cooler and more efficiently.
